COMMERCIAL VENDORS: Two large AIR CONDITIONED exhibit buildings are available. These buildings
have concrete floors and electrical outlets. One building is 56'x190' (10,640
square feet); the other is 38'x114' (4,332 square feet.)
EXHIBIT SPACE: Exhibit spaces consist of 6' x
30" tables. You may reserve as many tables as you wish. Reservations,
however, are on a first-come, first-served basis.
FEE: The fee for ONE TABLE, including chairs
and electrical outlets, is $20.00. ($15.00 if paid prior to May 1st) and

admission tickets can be included. The methods of payment are:
1. You may pay the entire cost by cash,
check or money order, in advance.
2. If reserving more than one table,
you may pay one-half the total fee with your reservation and the balance not later than May 1, 2008. Make
checks payable to "Ole Virginia Hams ARC."
CANCELLATION: Please notify the Ole Virginia Hams
not later than May 1, 2008, if you must cancel your reservations and we will
refund your deposit in full. Vendors who cancel after May 1, 2008 will forfeit
their deposit. Any table unclaimed after 9:30 AM on Hamfest day may be filled
at the discretion of the Commercial Exhibits Chairman.
SALES TAX: Vendors are responsible for collecting
applicable sales taxes and for having appropriate licenses. Representatives of
business tax offices of the
SET-UP: Exhibitors may begin setting up at
6:00 AM, Sunday, June 8th. However, the vendor buildings will also be
open Saturday, June 7 until approximately 10:00 PM if you wish to arrive early
and set up. Vendor buildings will be locked Saturday night and Ole Virginia
Hams club members will remain on the Fairground premises all night. However,
this provides only minimum security and the Ole Virginia Hams Club does not accept
liability for any merchandise left in these buildings overnight. Club members
will be available Sunday morning to direct you.
CLOSING: The Hamfest closes at 3:00 PM Sunday. Vendors must relinquish all tables by
5:00 PM on Sunday. Vehicles will
not be allowed in the buildings while the Hamfest is open and attendees are in
the area.
ADMISSION: $6.00 per person at the gates, no
advance ticket sales. Children under 12 are admitted free. Each exhibitor is
given complimentary tickets good for admission only. Specify on your table
reservation form how many tickets you will need to accommodate your staff and
their names.
TAILGATING/FLEA MARKET: More than 600 spaces are available in
the outdoor flea market area. Cost is $6.00 per 10' x 10' space in addition to
the $6.00 admission fee. Gates open Sunday at 6:00 AM for set up.
